I will target my products and services in countries US or North America which includes Canada, UK and Oceanic Australia and not in Malaysia or Asia or Europe currently.

The number of internet users as at todays date is 1.4 billion users (Internet world stats.com)

The number comes from mostly Europe 384 million users, North America 247 million users, Latin America 137 million users Australia 20 million users.

There are many different languages used througout the world but most of them will use English as their main communicator as English is the lingua franca of the world. You can see most of the internet users come from the english speaking countries.

So can we say that there is a huge potential market of 788 million users in this countries rather than your local market.

Besides that, Americans were the first to get started using the online commerce. You can see the amazon.com sells millions of USD of the books with the majority are being Americans.

Asian users dont read and speak English and neither do European users. 

Since english speaking countries provide better opportunities because of the number of users and also give you a chance to earn more as the exchange rate is more favourable to you that you can earn in selling in local market.
