What is a blog?
A blog is a particular type of website. Anyone who have been reading blogs, they will know blogging is not mere on publishing web sites. Blogs have evolved from personal journals, diary blogs and links blogs to a far more medium such as CEO blogs, educational blogs, marketing blogs.
A blog has a lot of features in common, but they can be desinged into your own individual style.
Difference between a blog and a website
Below are the differences that shows what make a blog different
1) Content
Blogs are always updated more often than a normal website, many of them even multiple of times a day and this keeps visitors visits more frequently. The chronological order of a blog is the most recent post (article) at the top of the main page and the later ones at the bottom.
2) Syndication
A blog can be viewed just like any other websites but it can provide in the form of feed. Visitors can view the articles in a machine readable format, allowing people with the appropriate software to read the blog publishing without visiting the website.
3) Conversation
The blog is different from a website because there is more of a conversational and community feel. Unlike the traditional informational site, a blogs are written with the bloggers communicating to their audience and replies in the form of comments. As conversation happens when one blog can be responsed and replied on others.
